Just one? Lately, I'd have to say 'The End of Religion' by Bruxy Cavey ... it's a book that I've been really challenged by, and also ridiculously encouraged by...and that's hard to do!
“What is the best vacation you have ever been on?”
Definitely our honeymoon in Hawaai...but that had a lot to do with the pretty blonde I was with!
“Where did you go to school? What did you earn there?
Master's College and Seminary, graduating with a Bachelor of Theology. I am currently a student at Tyndale College and Seminary, working towards a Master in Theological Studies.
“It’s your day off and you have no responsibilities…how do you spend it?”
Sleeping in, spending time with my wife and daughter, dinner, a walk and a movie. I'm a simple man!
“Why are you in ministry?”
I love Jesus, and I love people...and ministry is where I bring the two loves together!
“Name one of the best Jesus-moments of your life.”
One of them was the night I was called to ministry...after years of not knowing where I was going, responding to a preacher's challenge, going up for prayer after the sermon, and feeling an incredible, peaceful sense of 'THIS IS IT!'
“What is the best quality about your spouse?”
Pfffft...invoking Senior Pastor privilege and breaking the rules here to list more than one! Sweetness, kindness, caring, compassionate, funny, charming, and all about other people. Plus, hotness. Her hotness quality definitely needs to make the the list

“The Cross” by Martyn Lloyd-Jones. Based around the passage found in Galatians 6:14, it is one of the purest and most captivating glimpses of the Gospel out there. You need to read this book!
“What is the best vacation you have ever been on?”
There’s a place called “Mulberry Lane Bed & Breakfast” down near Port Stanley that Luisa and I have been a few times. Very quiet; very nice.

Master’s College & Seminary. I earned a Ministerial Diploma.

Reading with Luisa at a quiet cafe or watching the Food Network.

This is the most effective way that I, personally, can life out the Great Commission. (Plus, I get to connect with LOTS of people and build really, really great relationships with hundreds of people on a regular basis!)

Reading through a book which was new for me called “On the Incarnation” by St. Athanasius has left me almost in shock on several occasions so far. I am actually astounded at the revelation that God is giving in that book on Jesus Christ. Get it and read it!
“What is the best quality about your spouse?”
Her love for her family – me being part of that now of course. She is loyal and invested in her family like very few other people I have ever met. I am looking forward to our years raising a family with her!

"The Shack"...the personalities of the Father, Son and the Spirit are described in ways that were so tangible and real.

Our 10th anniversary get-away...that's where one of many healings began!

No doubt about it...with my husband and 2 children by a campfire eating smores and spiderdogs!!

Wow, there are many, but one that stands out has to be rekindling a relationship with my dad after 23 years of not seeing each other! The restoration that Jesus did is amazing!!

hmmmmmmmmm.....just kidding!! I would say his committment to God and our family. He loves me unconditionally and he has a lot of patience. Also, he's a wonderful daddy!
